After alot of parts hunting, I finally made it to Millen,Ga to attend a build class with Joe Collier. I was there for four days and it was a wonderful experience. I can't thank Joe Collier and his wife enough for their hospitality and attention to detail when it comes to rifle building.
Ok, here are the specs:
260 Remington
Surgeon 591 short action
Surgeon bottom metal
APA bolt knob
Huber 2 stage trigger
McMillan A3 adjustable stock (50% tan, 25% OD green, 25% red)
Bartlein MTU contour barrel 8 twist finished at 26
Surefire brake for my 762SS
Badger rings
Premier 5-25 Gen2XR
All metal work finished in Collier Green
Even Mr. Gradous showed up!
Here is Joe Collier with the finished product.
Not too bad for initial load workup. My shooting is lackluster at best!
I got most of the parts here on the Hide (from individuals and Hide sponsors) and I thank everyone for that. Thanks to all the members that post on here that helped me choose what I thought were the best parts for this build.
Thanks for looking and feel free to PM me with any questions. I'm still going through the 500+ pictures I took and I will post more later.
