Sidearms & Scatterguns My first batch of knives

Thanks everyone! Time has been short so haven't created much in the past year, but good things on the way. Always one-offs.. no mill or water jet stuff here.

My three first ones are finished. Hand filed, forged san mai, 120 to work some parts, then blades either ran by hand sanding from 220 to 1500, then media blasted.
Next is a 48" piece of 51200 so I can work the 120 shaping I've been taught from my mentor, Kim Breed who as he says, simply winds me up and watches me go!

The small utility tanto in the wooden saya was forged from a 1" x 2" piece of san mai I was handed and told, start hitting it. After a few unfocused hits, think about the tip of a knife, AH! GOT THIS! and away I went.
The center and bottom blade were cut from a piece of forged 1084.
The old school tanto is based on a fourth or fifth gen blade, has a wooden handle covered by leather wrap and the pommel is a US Army mos badge backer from dress uniform collar. The three nails that hold that together were made from stuff I had laying around.
The purple handle was the first. Based on a tanto, take a few shape changes, work with it and practice hand working from a billet to a blade.

The other photo is the forged tanto utility completed, sharp, and polished
