Its my first full GAP rifle and I'm excited to break it in. I found a stash of Corbon Match 115 DTACs and they should be here by the weekend.

    Specs:
    243 Winchester
    Surgeon 591 short action
    Surgeon bottom metal
    Jewell trigger
McMillan A3 stock (1/3 od green, 1/3 dark brown, 1/3 orange)
Bartlein GAP #7 contour, 7.7 twist, finished at 28 inches

    Thanks for looking!!

Excellent choice Patrick! I just got mine last week as well. I just broke it in and it only took 3 hours! However, the instructions are very clear and the outcome will be exactly as described by the instructions. In other words, the copper fouling will tail off really fast after the 8th or 9th shot. Now, after about 22 shots, there is VERY minimal copper fouling. This is a first for me. Usually I get a lot of copper fouling for the life of the rifle. I am glad I broke in the rifle as prescribed by GA Precision. Enjoy!
