Painted my stock, installed my Seekins BDM, and added a little touch to my boltknob the other day.

Since I had my gun out to snap pix for my scope sale and enjoy looking at everyone elses rigs so thought I'd contribute!

When I was done with the knob I thought maybe I added too much flash but after I painted it and put it on the think it looks pretty good.

Your paint work looks killer. Is it just me or is your bolt knob installed different than most? The angle doesn't follow the handle shank. Just curious how you like it cause I really like the look of it.

I had never used a tac knob and all of them I had seen were angled back to follow the angle of the bolt handle like you mentioned. (not having ever used one) it seemed to me your hand might easily slide off the knob being angled back.

So I went ahead and threaded my handle myself 90 degrees to the bolt body.

I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It's as if all I have to do is throw my hand up naturally and the knob will actually feel as if it hooks my index finger all the way back and has a very positive feel during the return closing my bolt!

Thanks for noticing

I used a collet master index fixture and a mill.
I have several people interested in it, if you pm me maybe we could work something out.

Thanks
