Karsten cheekrest
timney trigger
20MOA base
action trued and lugs squared up
3 position r700 style safety
pic rail for bipod
action and all metal parts nitride treated
billet bottom metal

because this was the first rifle my grandfather every gave me and i wanted to pass it down to my son and shoot it a bit before then

a) i prefer wooden stock for a hunting rifle, especially when i tend to give it on (which my old man will, as will i with mine). wood is just ... different.

b) out of curiousity or maybe an interesting suggestion: in my area we tend to have our initials carved into a silver piece, which is mounted to the bottom of the pistol grip. so ... the rifle of my old man will always hold 'DM' in carved letters at the bottom. and (maybe in 60 years) my kids will say 'look, the first rifle i was hunting with - the one with the DM, it has been the one from grandpa'

see i'm not a wooden stock kind of guy. although i do plan on doin a engraving on the bottom metal once i get it back to signify my grandfather and me
