Looks really good. Give us a range report when you get out with it.

Re: My new .308 from Robert Gradous

Here are some 5 shot groups Robert shot (using factory FGMM ammo) while he was breaking-in the barrel & proofing the rifle - not too shabby "out of the box":

Re: My new .308 from Robert Gradous

Gradous is a one man operation that builds rifles to perfection!
Ask me how I know...

Buckey, good choice on components. And great choice on using Gradous. That is a sweet rig!

Re: My new .308 from Robert Gradous

Please post more about Robert Gradous, how long build time, etc. We've all seen a lot of rifles, but few stand out like this one does-no fluff-It has a pure quality look, and after looking at the target-I'd like to know more.

I have researched so many builders for months now and have finally decided to let Robert build mine. You know, I have never heard 1 bad thing about him or his work...not 1.

I like how he builds all his rifles himself and he is a FREAK when it comes to perfection, from what I hear. He will be gettingmy busniess very soon.

+1 on the build time, would like to know as well.

Gradous is for the shooter looking for total perfection.

Personality, workmanship, accuracy, test firing to insure accuracy before shipment, ect. Hell, he has even sent me cell phone pics of my rifles during the build process. It don't get no better than that!

A huge +1 on what Night Poacher stated above.

After he received my components, I had my rifle back to me in about 3.5 months. Robert is a genuine nice guy & his work is outstanding. If its not perfect, its not leaving his shop!!! Little things such as barrel break-in, proofing of rifle, & awesome communication are included in his builds - no fluff or BS coming outta his shop.

Here are a couple more pics:

Re: My new .308 from Robert Gradous

My Zeiss on this rifle was a lemon - first time to the range after mounting it, I could not dial in my windage!! It seems the windage adjustment was froze in 1 spot & would not move at all.

Zeiss replaced the scope for me, but I moved on to a NightForce NXS 5.5-22x50 & could not be happier!! It took me an entire 4 shots to precisely zero this rifle after getting my NightForce.

Rifle shoots way better than I do - loves FGMM 168 grain ammo!!

Thanks again Robert!!

Re: My new .308 from Robert Gradous

Roberts work is some of the best you will ever see. There is no such thing as good enough with Robert.I have two rifles and a third in the shop now.If there is anyone out there doing work at his level I would like to see it.

I don't think he liked it at all.

That's one of the nicest rifles I've ever seen.

Re: My new .308 from Robert Gradous

Thanks guys!!!

Robert did a great job & I love this rifle.

The Diavari had some of the nicest glass I have ever seen in a scope(and I'm a S&B guy), but like I said above, it was a lemon!!

I will give some kudos to Zeiss Customer Service - replaced the scope with a brand new one very promptly, but I was a little "gun shy" of it & moved on to a NightForce 5.5-22X50, which has been great.

It replaced a GAP .308 of very similar components that I shouldn't have sold!!!

Re: My new .308 from Robert Gradous

That is an extremely good looking no nonsense rifle. After doing all your research on top quality rifle builders I don't feel that there is any way you can go wrong having Robert Gradous build you a rifle. His attention to detail & work ethic is unbelievable. I am very proud of the Robert Gradous that I own already with future builds already in the works.
On the down side......once you have one of Robert's rifles you are all out of excuses.
