Marc at Spartan Precision Rifles built this rifle. I’ve taken it to the range a few times, and it shoots beautifully. The weight is well distributed throughout the rifle, making it balanced and operating smoothly. Once the shooter gets a bit more training

, we’ll be able to see exactly what this rifle is capable of.

Todd at Phantom Finishing did the cerakote work and made it look absolutely gorgeous. He was able to take my obscure directions and get the picture out of my head and put it onto the rifle. He truly has a gift.

Joe Ducos did an amazing job cutting the cheek piece. His work is so clean that it appears to be from the factory.

Re: My New Spartan Precision Rifle

So that was originally a non adjustable A3? I didnt know you could just cut the stock and add an adjustable cheek. Can you provide a little more info on Joe Ducos?

Re: My New Spartan Precision Rifle

Looks like another nice one from Marc and Todd. I think that is one of my favorite color combos I have seen.

Joe's custom cheek pieces are great - I have one on an A1-3 and it makes all the difference.

Re: My New Spartan Precision Rifle

I first met Marc at the Cup a couple of years ago. At breakfast one morning he said that he was going to start building rifles full time. I knew from the conversation that he was very serious and committed to this venture.

It wasn't hard to determine after meeting Marc that he was a first class guy, but I thought to myself that is a gutsy decision, and wished him the very best of luck in his new venture.

Well it appears that he didn't need my well wishes at all, lol.

I Love to see a plan come together and someone to fulfill their dream.

I still wish Marc and his customers the very best, it's obvious he is doing his part!!

Re: My New Spartan Precision Rifle

Gina- this is only your second post and you put this up!? What are you trying to do, make some of us jealous? Well, it worked!!!!

Beautiful rifle...

Re: My New Spartan Precision Rifle

Yes, it originally came unadjusted. After playing around with and becoming frustrated with various stock packs, I spoke to Joe to ask him about cutting a cheek piece for me (and he did a wonderful job with it, as you can see).

I edited the original post to include his email address, but here it is for convenience: [email protected]

Re: My New Spartan Precision Rifle

Marc is a great guy and awesome gunsmith. I am very lucky to have gotten to know him both as a friend, fellow shooter, and gunsmith.

You could always order a rifle from him and help that dream become more of a reality...
