My new build, it is a nice step up from the factory Remington .308s that I have been shooting.

Stiller TAC 30
Rock Creek Barrel RV contour finished at 24 inches
RAD Rapid Brake
Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor by Stiller
Manners T-2A with Mini Chassis in Coyote with 90% Carbon fill
Topped with a Premier 5-25 Gen II XR

I love the Manners stock with the mini-chassis. I torqued the action in and went shooting.

This is a 6 round group at 100m, the flyer was my fault.

Re: My new Stiller build

I considered .260 however no one local shoots it. Local 6.5 shooters are using Creedmoor, with a few running 6.5 x 47. Plus the ability to get cheap factory ammo was appealing.

This is BLM land 25 minutes from my house. The targets are 550m away and you can stretch out to 2000m. We are planning on stretching the legs on a Barrett .50 at this location in the near future.

good looking set up.

Haven't weighed it, but it is light. The stock alone I would say is 3.5 ish but feels lighter. Total weight is probably around 13-14lbs, it makes those standing shots a little easier than my old stick.

I am using a Jewell tuned to 2 lbs.

You need to log everything north of Whitefish/Columbia Falls to border and you'll have a 'big' back yard to shoot in.

Get my twin brother in town to help, he loves LR shooting. lol

Oh, and what the others said, "nice looking rig"!!!!!

Damn, I would have to drive 2 or 3 days to get to a place like that.

Nice rifle. Love my 6.5 Creedmoor.

That would be awesome. however I think that a certain group of people would shut us down before we cut the first tree. Not to mention any names but their initials are ENVIROMENTALISTS. There are some nice valley locations here but they are all private and on top of that numerous private owners for a single stretch of land. (Nothing like Eastern MT)
