Fellas,
I have a brand new .300wsm sps-varmint, and I'm expecting my scope to arrive tomorrow. I have 100ct brand new winny brass, and none of it will even fit in my chamber.I've tried to resize the brand new brass to the point of where my rock chucker press won't allow me to fl size it any smaller, and yet it won't fit. What's wrong here?
Thanks for any help.
UPDATE: I loaded up 21 rounds of 210vld's to magazine length. 4x 58gr, 4x58.5gr 4x 59, 4x59.5, and 4x60 with one spotter round loaded at 57gr, to also check pressures.
They chamber, but yet there's a little extra force needed. After I get the bolt down the first time, I can bring it up, and push it and it goes back down normally, like any old 700. I can also pull the still loaded cartridge (after initially chambering it) almost to the point of where it extracts, and push the bolt back forward and chamber the round with ease. I'm puzzled.
