how long do they have to be? there are 5.7 uppers with 16" barrels on a few sites

I'm talking about the pistol. AR's and other Semi-Autos are pretty much impossible to get down here in oz. Pistols are possible if you're a registered sport shooter.

Pistol barrel length must be over 5" to be legal, and with a magazine capacity of 10 rounds or less.

my pistol barrel is 5.5" long but it it threaded and you can get 10 round mag's i think that is what they sell to the california people they also have to have 10 rounds or less. to find a FN five seven you might want to try www.gunbroker.com you can find them there but to ship to you might be tough.

It'd be near on impossible to get a pistol shipped from the US.

Just looked on UsedGuns.com (aussie site). There's fiveseven's there. But they're near on $2000 a pop. I like my guns, but not $2000 like and the mandatory competition time i'd have to shoot with it.

no it is not. if you are talking about the top one i took a 20 round pmag apart and cut down. it catches all the spent casings.
