Hey all. I'm traveling to Myrtle Beach soon for a few days and am curious if there are any gun or shooting related attractions in the area? Or other things that aren't gun or shooting related that are must see? Thanks!

Join the contestAwesome! Thanks!Great breakfast at Plantation Pancake Hose just south of the 544 and US Business 17 intersection.
There’s a PSA on US 17 and a number of others in the area.
Awesome! Thanks!
I’ll second that. There are some nice Par 3 courses around there that are fun and you can play day or night.I’ve never shot there but the biggest concentration of golf courses I’ve ever seen outside of Hilton Head. If you happen to play the night golf is interesting.
Picking peas.
Some will get that!

Brookgreen Gardens. I wasn't excited about going but it turned out to be a highlight of the last trip. 10000 acre former cotton plantation full of statues, gardens, fountains and trees. Amazing.
Huntington Beach state park is across the street and was part of the same plantation. Nice, short, trails. Myrtle Beach state park is OK, but way smaller.
I like the Hook and Barrel and Aspen Grille for chow.
The PSA store prices are higher than online. No ranges I've seen. Not a lot of gun stores.
North Myrtle and Barefoot landing area is nice. There is a Bass Pro there. The South end, Murrells Inlet is high class. In the middle, 1st ST is the hood.
Going to visit Murder Beach, huh?Hey all. I'm traveling to Myrtle Beach soon for a few days and am curious if there are any gun or shooting related attractions in the area? Or other things that aren't gun or shooting related that are must see? Thanks!
The boardwalk was fantastic 20 or so years ago, it is a shithole now. For that matter, Myrtle Beach proper is a shithole. We almost always stay in North Myrtle, less people, same beaches. If we want something that’s at Myrtle, we make a trip and head back to N, Myrtle.I always wanted to go there for some reason. I guess I thought I would be the San Diego of the east coast. If you have the same ideas I’ll tell you right now it’s the 29 Palms/yucca of the east coast.
Maybe I just over hyped it in my mind.
I went to their boardwalk and it was lame.
Went to the beach, I’ve seen better waves at the YMCA.
Myrtle beach only seems fun on meth.
As for visiting PSA:
-higher prices
-looked like a dollar tree inside
-skittish employees w zero knowledge
-it’s a t shirt shop
FIFYFORTUNATELY , none of us are into golf.
I couldn't cite statistics but it's a regular stream of news stories.Tell me more. Didn't realize those 2 areas (Charleston and M Beach) had such bad crime? We were also planning to explore some surrounding counties to see if we like it enough to move down that way.
