Naomi Judd

I will admit that your responses are not coming through real clear. Might want to reread that stuff before you hit send. bye
Let's get crystal and use small words so you get it.

Your position is the same as the Democratic Party for Red Flag laws. Restrict access for those with mental depression.
Who determines what level of depression?
What triggers a warning?
Do we need daily check ins?
Constant monitoring?
Can your wife determine your mental state?
Your kids?
You co workers?
Me?
The neighbor?
Who gets to be alerted?
Your boss?
Your coworkers?
Your wife?

In other words, to prevent suicide you would turn us into Communist China with a full social credit and big brother in house 24/7 surveillance.

Now I have to go get George Washington out of his crypt, because he is personally going to come skull fuck the idea out of your tiny brain and make sure it NEVER comes back again.

The price of Freedom is sometimes people harm themselves. They make mistakes. Apparently YOU think you know better than every one of us how to live our lives. Or perhaps the 545 twits in washington DC. They sure have done a bang up job. Lets put THEM in charge.

There is nothing you can do to stop those who just have the intent.

Enable? People who really intend to go through with it don't need enablement. I assume it takes a certain amount of determination to reach that final conclusion.

knowing people who have done it quick and slow, you start to understand some just have demons.

Firearms aren't the symptom, nor the cause. But, yes they are a means. It's like blaming food for being hungry. The causes are wide and complex but would require lots of actual work to improve.

I have been to her house. It's not a huge house. They should have heard the gun go off, even if it was a 22.
I had the same initial thought. Then I remembered that about 15-20 years ago I was a guest in a home (essentially a double-wide trailer with some additions built on) for a Christmas party when a kid accidentally killed his sister with a .22 rifle in a bedroom at the end of the hall. There were quite a few people talking loudly and cutting up around the dining room table at the other end, but no loud music, etc., and we didn't hear the shot. I still can't believe we never heard it. That said, it sounds like there was a much quieter scenario at the Judd home.
