Hey guys. Im wondering if any northeast nebraska shooters would like to get together and shoot sometime soon. Im very new and would like to spend some time with some more seasoned shooters to pick up some pointers. I have a private farm we can shoot 1000, once the corn comes out. Right now we can do at least 400. Im willing to travel as well. Thanks in advance!

You should look into this unless you already know about it.

I also have a range at my house about 150 miles north of you near Belden, NE. We should be harvesting the corn in a few weeks, then I will have shots up to a mile if thats long enough for you.

nah, a mile aint long enough, ha ha. I only have a 308, so 1000yd is good enough. I'd be willin to make the trip up on a weekend.

yeah, i know about engc, i shot at their F-Class Match last Sunday, it is a good range. I have a membership at the Isaac Walton League just south of Lincoln cuz i can't justify going to ENGC everyother day to practice. I drive an F-150 5.4L, so it doesn't go by too many gas stations.
Plus funds are limited cuz i'm a graduate student at UNL.

Well its pretty short notice but, baddeerhunter is coming to my place tomorrow afternoon to do some shooting. I will have targets at 100, 380, 550, and 750. You are more than welcome. If you want to wait a few weeks until we get the corn out behind my place, I will have a lot more range options.

Re: Nebraska Shooters #2

Here are some of the pics of yesterday's shooting. I was going to get some video but the wind was brutal, maybe next time. I'll get some better pics next time and target pics.

Thanks for coming out guys.

Re: Nebraska Shooters #2

Thanks for having us out Bri. First time shoting steel for me and even though the wind was a mother, I had a blast! Both you and JP are great guys to shoot with and I look forward to the next time we can get together and shoot.

Re: Nebraska Shooters #2

Looking good

Much improved over the factory one.

That's quite a pile of ammo you got there. I know a good place where you can go to get rid of it.

You rockin a can on your AR yet? Or just the same on multiple rifles.

Glad to see at least someone is getting trigger time. All the rifles shown are quite nice. </div></div>

I use my YHM 7.62 phantom on my 6.5x47, 6.8spc, and my 308.

Your right 6.5 Lapua in the DTA was definatley the way to go. The combination of the weight, balance, and the suppressor. There is not much recoil at all, I love shooting this rifle.
