A couple other hide members and I went shooting this weekend, and while reaching out to 940 yards, I ran completely out of adjustments. I needed almost another mildots worth and had to componsate by raising my dots.

Im currently using Leupold PRW rings and Leupold 2 peice mounts.

Can I find a single rear 20moa base or is this a trash what I got and get new situation?

Re: Need 20moa base apparently....

You have to use a one piece 20MOA base as you can't just change out the rear as this would put your rings out of alignment.

Your best bet is to find a 20 MOA base you like/afford for you make and model rifle: some examples Badger Ordnance, EGW, Leopold

You don't say what rifle (rem, savage, tikka), you also don't say what scope (available internal travel differs significantly)

1) If it is a remington, my experience is that you will most likely need to bed the base. For some reason, the rear of the action is frequently much lower than specs call for.
It is very easy to demonstrate with a 1 piece base.

I really like the new Weaver Extended Multi-slot rail (20 MOA).
They can be had for about 30 bucks and unlike the base EGW models (also very good for the money) they have full slots instead of the "dog ear" slots.

BED THAT BASE!!!

Lonewolf has an excellent tutorial on his website and he did a video tutorial as well.

It is very easy to do and will set you back about 10 bucks (JB Weld and play dough).
