Alright I need a little help with bullet selection. The action is a trued R700, 20" with a 1 in 12" twist, chambered for .308. The bullets I'm looking at are the ones I can find here in town, not neccesarily what I can order so if something is missing that is why.

155gr Sierra HPBT
155.5gr Berger Fullbore
168gr Barnes TTSX BT
168gr Nosler Ballistic Tip
168gr Berger VLD (hunting and target)
175gr Berger VLD (hunting and target)
175gr Sierra SMK

The main application will be target shooting but I always get that itch around September and a good hunting load is always nice. Basically I'd like to know what won't work, what is so so and what is amazing. Through my own research I've found that the Bergers and SMK's are extremely good bullets. I have found some info on the TTSX BT that says it's accurate as well. I realize a lot of this has to do with the rifle being finicky but some personal experience would always be helpful. Thank you for your time.

I'm a huge berger fan. I've used their bullets with great success. I will say that bergers work best when touching the lads or jamed into them a little bit.

Mate I would not use a gun while you are touching a lad or jamming anything into a lad it might not look too good in court.
One of those times when you wish you had not said anything.
It's amazing what the loss of just a single n can do.
Only joking mate don't blow a fuse.
On a more serious note any of those bullets might be great you really have to try them and see how your gun handles each bullet type.
