Would any kind hide member want to modify one of my once fired 6.5 creedmoor and 223 rem cases for me? I do not want to wait weeks for hornady to do it and do not have a lathe.
A drill press will work in a pinch. A size L drill bit (IIRC) and a 5/16-36 tap are a good thing to have in the tool chest if you're constantly changing calibers.
Heck, MHS (just up the road from you) may be able to hook you up if you're in a pinch. I'd wager they have the tools on hand to do this...
I bought the drill bit and tap on Amazon Prime and had it here in two days. Needed a 300NM that Hornady doesn't make. Pretty easy. If you don't think you want to try it I'll do it. Won't take long.
Send me a PM if you're still in need. I bought the bit and tap to make one in 28nosler. I had one of my techs at work do it for me on our lathe there. May be a couple day turn around.
