Need a new basic QD sling

I am looking for a new sling, nothing to fancy just using it to carry a 10/22 on my shoulder for hunting. I do want it to have QD swivels or be able to add them. I was looking at the Magpul MS1, or the MS1 padded. I do like the fact you can get them in green.

+1. For basic, the magpul works. I have a couple ms4 slings. Both for rifle and carbine

Magpul looks good in that some models come with the QD already. Also, Blue Force Gear has a padded and non padded sling that can accept QD attachments.

For just a cheap option you could get webbing and a few tri glides and add the QD swivels to each end. The QD swivels would be the most expensive part.

I have both and prefer the MS1 by a small margin. Mostly because the webbing makes the slider work so much more smoothly.

If you get a Magpul sling without the QD ends (how mine came) don't bother buying the Magpul specific ones. I went over a couple isles in Cabela's, and grabbed some generic QD swivels for about 15 bucks cheaper if I remember correctly.

They are almost always cheaper bought separately. I never buy a sling with built in QD swivels.
