Gunsmithing need a smith to perm atach a flash hider

Im looking for a smith to properly permanently attach a flash hider / QD for a can. I need this to check the threads and make sure they are concentric. Also Im on a really tight budget, I can't afford several hundred dollars for this, but I know you get what you pay for and I dont want / need a crap job.

Drilling and pinning isnt an option, how about welding or silver solder.

The AAC Blackout dosent have a good flat spot to drill and pin. I think like 3/16th flat spot is about it.

I've been using a custom smith in TN - He owns the Armory gun store - His name is Curtis- 615-257-0606 I'd give him a holler and ask about a price, he's really reasonable.

I drilled and pinned my Blackout suppressor mount, it was nearly invisible. The only difficulty was the hardness of the steel.

Presume you have a can with ball bearings that locks in a radiused groove (similar to a hydraulic fitting) on the flash hider, why does it need to be permenent. silver solder, would be your best option, you could tig weld it but their is a chace of warpage from the heat.

Typically it needs to be permanently attached to bring it up to the legal 16" length to avoid the SBR tax. The attachment method isn't like a fitting, it's just a coarse thread that pulls the can into a shoulder with a ratchet that engages teeth on the flash hider to prevent backing off.

ADCO firearms, he has a option for the AAC stuff. I've used him in the past on cut,thread,crown and pin and he does great work.
