Suppressors Need advice for suppressor repair

I unfortunately had a baffle strike. The suppressor is 3D printed from inconel. There was no damage to the baffles internally. The only damage is a small chip on the inside of the endcap that can be seen in the photo. I would like to have the suppressor opened up or the exit reverse chamfered. The manufacturer says the damage is cosmetic and would not warranty it. Can this be repaired? Any recomendations for a shop that can do the work?

End cap strike, nothing to worry about IMO. Mine happened thousands of rounds ago and is a reminder to pay attention to the connection to the barrel.

If it still functions fine and accuracy isn’t affected I’d let it be and roll on.

To fix a small chip you want to cut apart your 3D printed suppressor, have some one chamfer it down so it doesn’t look bad, and then somehow weld it back together 100% seamless where there is an intricate cosmetic design and not have a blemish on it. Not gonna happen bud. Gonna have to let your OCD go on this one unless you want to buy a new can.

Honestly I can't say. I think it is opening groups up but I was so mad about it I know I wasn't shooting well.

I’ve got one much worse the the front of my can. Still shoots 1/4 moa

Does an end cap strike affect accuracy like damage to the crown of a barrel does? Or does the suppressor exit hole not have any influence?

I believe he's referring to the fact that you cannot change the caliber (ie open it up). That's against the rules. Just like you can't make one longer, etc.

Okay. I'm not asking if I can open the baffle stack to a different caliber I'm asking if I can shave a few thousandths off the end cap to have a clean muzzle. I'm counting 8 .22 caliber baffles that would not allow a larger caliber to pass between the threads and the end cap.
