Need advise on trigger pull gauge.

If it's just a one time curiosity of what is my pull weight, you can throw some spare change in a plastic bag and tie it off to a longer loop of dental floss up and around the trigger. Adjust until you find the weight that can barely lift the bag off the ground without setting off the trigger. Easier if you pull action out of stock but works either way. US quarters are exactly 5 per ounce (0.2 each) or if you have a postal scale you can just grab a handful and adjust as needed.
I have used a basic Timney tigger pull gauge. It was OK, but nothing amazing. It got the job done, and I am happy with the end result. I would recommend taking the time to make your measurement several times. It is very easy to pull to hard when the trigger breaks and mess up the measurement.

Search eBay for a Chatillon Force Gauge. Look for one 0-5 lbs, or 0-10 lbs. They measure on both push and pull. Threaded input rod makes it easy to make a hook from music wire and a 1/4-20 nut. The switch on the front will freeze the gauge at the maximum pull/push weight. Many available under $50.
I’ve used this one for a while, now. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Been using a Lyman digital for 15+ years. Works great.
I don't necessarily shoot for an absolute number with the Lyman, I set the trigger to what I like based on feel and note the reading on the Lyman then set my other triggers to match so they're consistent.
Not sure how accurate it is, but it is precise-- the measurements are repeatable to about an ounce over multiple cycles so it's easy to make all your triggers match.

As a tool they seem very subjective based on how you set up and do the pull each time. I try to do it the exact same way each time for consistency and still get varied readings. How closely does that translate to how I actually pull the triggeris anyone’s guess. I have never done a video analysis of my trigger pull so that might yields some answers to that end.
