I've been with verizon for 22 years and pay $48/month for 1gb data. I'm now needing around 2-3gb and even with their first responder plan I'm at $60/month. I don't like paying $48 now and surely not $60.

I also need another phone so figured it was time to switch providers. I've heard Rush talk about Patriot but their reviews are not great. Anyone use their service or have a better plan?

I have Patriot mobile. They do piggyback on Sprint. I switched from Verizon, haven't noticed much of a dif in reception. Possibly a dropped call here or there. Been with them a couple years...

Verizon does 5gb prepaid for $25 month.

It looks like $40 but it drops $10 (immediately) if you've been with them. They discount another $5 if you just leave your CC on file. Nets to $25 + tax=$27.

Any android or aapl phone set up for verizon will work, including obviously, your existing. Been doing prepaid for about 10 years now. Service is no different.

    Thanks, I'm on it.

You should check out Red Pocket mobile

For me their best deal is AT&T service (if att has good signal where you need it, its great where I am)
but they also have a verizon service based plan, its just not as good of a value as the att one

I buy the plans on ebay when they go on sale, I pay $300 up front for an entire year of service, 20GB data per every 30 days and unlimited talk and text. I have unlocked phones, so just a matter of popping their sim card in and activating. Their customer service is pretty good too

This was the att plan - no longer on sale, this is full price, but it will go on sale again around black friday, does every year

Here is the link to their verizon plan 7GB data per every 30 days and $240 for the year.
