need ar10 but which one

Guys,i need your help badly.I have an ar in 6.5 grendel and i love it but i want a .308. My mechanical abilities are limited. I do know how to put a nut on the bolt and a little more but not much. Should I get a GAP AR 10 or get a smith to craft one for me. If a smith is the answer, then which one. I need your help. Many thanks and God Bless,

You won't go wrong with purchasing a GAP-10. You could have a gunsmith build an AR-10 but that doesn't mean it will shoot as well as the GAP.

GAP or POF. Don't think you would regret either.

I'd go with a custom AR10 using a Noveske SS barrel.

GAP 10,POF,Noveske N6,SR25,LMT(Yes it's good,ask the Brits),Larue OBR are all great.

Sounds like you already have a great setup in a nice caliber that you love. Will it be a significant leap that's worth it?

What load are you shooting with the Grendel?

If you want a GAP 10, then get it. It will serve you well.

The reason I want a .308 is because my suppressor is for 30 cal and I use it on my bolt guns (.308's).Please don't think I'm bragging or boasting but I do deer control work here in Maryland and I have good luck with my .308's but then again my Grendel is no slouch out to 353yds. so far.
