Sidearms & Scatterguns Need direction on EDC folder

I'm having a really hard time finding what I want in a new EDC carry blade.

I'd like a folder with good quality steel, and a more refined handle. Preferably a quality wood or decorative wood, carbon fiber combo.

Help narrow down a few companies, or specific models if you know of any.

I love my Zero Tolerance 0350. Spring assisted opening and the blade from the factory has a pretty good edge.

Have you looked at Chris Reeve knives?
The small Inkosi or small Mnandi are very nice.
I played with a Mnandi Damascus and it is amazing.

Large sebenza with the Insigno blade shape and a carbon scale has been in my pocket for a year now. It replaced a Dalton scale release that was my EDC for about 15 years.

The Sebenza action and Insigno blade shape is great. Big knife but carries like a small one.

My EDC (when not at work) is a CRK Large Sebenza, love the way it looks and feels. I carry either a Strider or Benchmade at work.

I’ve been carrying a Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2 folder exclusively for the past three months. It has CPM M4 steel and carbon fiber scales. It’s a sharp looking knife. I use my knife everyday at work and I’m very impressed with the edge retention. It’s not as hard to sharpen as some on the internet would lead you to believe.

My work knives (either Strider or Benchmade) are mainly for utility, though I know how to use them for defense.

How much do you want to spend? The Benchmade 940-1 is arguably the nicest EDC blade I've ever used. S90V steel is insane at edge retention, carbon fiber handles are classy but practical, and its so light it nearly disappears in your pocket. It's not cheap, but a hell of a lot cheaper than a Reeves...

I carry a firearm for defense. My EDC knife is for cutting everyday stuff. Opening packages, slicing deer sausage at work for lunch, etc.

Thanks for the Chris Reeves suggestion. A perfect blade would have more of a drop point for my everyday use, but this will work.
