Night Vision need help identifing optic

Russian 1st or 2nd gen night vision sold commercially in US 20ish years ago. Built in illuminator.
I had one, will try to find manual.

Would not hold zero.

It looks like the Gen 1 version of a Dipol manufactured product.
Is there any wording or logo under all that paint on the lens cover?

thanks ; now I might be able to find operating instructions , im not sure if it works or not , I put a new battery in it and I can see a faint reticle image , but its to faint to be of use

Adjust both eye piece and front. Might give you a 5% increase. Check the illuminator, its focus able as you turn the lense.
The little "buttons" on the side neither of us showed in pics are supposed to adjust the gain and the illuminator.
