Need help in IDing BDC Info

I have recently acquired a Steyr Mannlicher Mod. SSG-69, .308 cal bolt action with 20" barrel (bolt face to muzzle crown). It has a Steyr rotary style magazine. It is factory mounted with a Swarovski ZFM 6x42 Z scope that apparently has a BDC elevation marked from 1 to 8 (100 to 800 feet or meters, don't know). Elevation clicks are as follows: 1to2,3clicks; 2to3,4clicks; 3to4,4clicks; 4to4.5,2clicks; 4.5to5,3clicks; 5to5.5,3clicks; 5.5to6,3clicks; 6to6.5, 3clicks; 6.5to7,4clicks; 7to7.5,4clicks; 7.5to8,5clicks; 8tostop,2clicks. This rifle appears to be designed either as an urban sniper military or police (20" barrel). The scope has wide post and side cross with fine crosshairs elsewhere. It has a ranging line at the bottom that measures SOME through the scope distance from 10 to 2 in 5 increments. I would assume these are either 1000 to 200 yards or meters (don't know which). Can anyone help me with the round this BDC is designed for? Don't know the ranging distance for ranging marks either. No literature at all with weapon. Any other known information or an email would be appreciated. Thanks to whomever!

Also, FM 3-05.222, page F2, section F3 discusses ammunition, grain weights that the ZF series is calibrated for.. I am sending this from my phone, or else I would just copy, paste, and reply with the information.
