Your not going to get too much in reply with your parameters in this local. The 24X and up scopes worth their salt start at a bit over $2K and climb from there, rapidly.
In a 308 platform out to 1K you would do well to look in the 4 - 18 range of powers. Most folks cant hold anything over 18X still via a bi-pod or bag. If you are looking for the tacticool "look" there are many out there that will shit their glass on the first round. If you are looking for a serious scope that will withstand thousands of dialings ....... eat ramen and tuna fish, save your pennies and get a good scope. That being said look at any 30mm tubed scope in the appropriate range as most 1" tubed scopes can't make the climb from 100 to 1K via the knobs.
