Looking to purchase a few accesories and am hoping to draw on the collective experience.

First is a stand for my spotting scope. I’m running a celesteon regal 80. Should I go spotting scope stand which has the easy versatility for using prone kneeling or standing but is not good in the field.

Or should I go with a traditional Tripp’s and if so what options are there to make viable while in the prime?

Second item is I’m looking for another bipod. I’m debating between the atlas 5h, the APO LRA or the RPS bipod. Thoughts?

Can't help with the first as I use my rifle scope as a spotting scope for others shooting (from a bipod or in a pig saddle on a tripod).

What is the intended purpose of the shooting style?

ie.
30% plinking, 40% PRS, 30% hunting

if weight and cost don't matter that's great, but they usually do, so you're probably looking for a single bipod to do most of everything.

Tough to answer what’s good for you... for me, I use my rrs tripod for my spotter and just ordered a 5H to try it out. Most gear questions will come down to intended use and personal preference.

If you're not sure of usage, I'd go Atlas PSR for general shooting, anything where you have to carry it in the field or for a distance

The larger heavier lower apex bipods will work better for longer distances (over 1200) for smaller targets

Under 1200 on larger targets like steel, I'd be fine with a Harris or Atlas PSR
