Gunsmithing need help should i shorten barrel or buy a new one

I am thinking about getting a 16 in. 300 blackout barrel and when I get a sbr stamp having the barrel cut down to 10.5 in. and rethreaded. Can yall give me a reasonable price to have this done so I can see if I should do this or just sell barrel and buy a new 10.5 in. barrel. Thanks for yalls help

Should be able to have it done between $75 and $100. If this is on an auto loader you need to make sure you're not going to run into any issues with the gas system.
