Gunsmithing Need help with my tikka t3 lite 300 wm

Okay I am pretty new at this forum thing so im pretty sure I will hear alot about not searching but oh well. I deer hunt alot and my new tikka kicks like a mule well im am looking for ways to calm her down. I already bought a recoil pad but i am also lookin at getting a muzzle brake. But everytime i search for them they are in germany or something are there any usa dealers that make a muzzle brake please help the faster i find out hopefully i can get it done before season starts thanks.

badger FTE or American Precison Fat Bastard, take your rifle to WNRoscoe and have him turn and thread the muzzle and you are good to go. Welcome to the Hide

well sure, just about everyone and their grandmother make muzzle brakes. Look up midway and brownells.

I use a Holland's brake on my Tikka 300WM. It now recoils less than my son's Tikka .270. Very nice brake. Has three holes on top which helps fight muzzle flip, which is almost as much of a problem on light rifles as recoil.

Yeah because i went sighting it in the other weekend and went through half a box and couldnt get a good group at all. But i am having to custom bullets made too and then ill be shooting some 165 grain bullets. But yeah i wrote his number down and plan on giving him a call tomorrow.

If you can learn to shoot a 7 1/2 lb. rifle in 300WM without a brake accurately, you can shoot almost anything.

Yeah i guess thatis true but I am definately lookin at getting a differents scope my 3x9x50 nikon just doesnt seem like enough.
