Hello, I have an issue with my scope rings. I have a pair of vortex precision matched 34mm rings that are 1.42” high. I sold the rifle they went on, and now they’re too high for my current rifle. Can’t use my comb because they’re too high. I need to order lows, anyone have any suggestions on what brand to go with? I need to find a place to get rid of my current rings too. Anyone have a used set they’d sell?

Thanks

Sell them on the Hide PX

Vortex branded Seekins, Seekins, ARC M10, NF all good rings

I like the NF & Badger unimounts a lot. They would be my first choice if moving optics between guns.

Spuhr are popular but very pricey, I've never owned one.

As dorky as it sounds, I really like putting compressed sponges and ace wraps around my rifle stock/combs. It allows for a custom heigh cheekrest and I find that in higher volume shooting it is less stress on my ear internals compared to a hard cheekrest.

Look at what some MAJOR gunsmiths use. They sell hundreds, if not thousands of rifles per year. If they use a particular brand/model and continue to use them, they probably are good. They have rent and employees to pay as well as reputations to defend. They cannot sell 5k rifles that fail to hold zero because of inferior rings and expect to stay in business. Beware of people who buy one set of rings and offer an opinion - good or bad.
