Rifle Scopes need some help....on first scope setup

Guys Im picking my new Savage 10 308 with Choate stock up Thursday and need some help with choosing which base, and rings to order for this gun. I plan to purchase the Vortex PST 6-24 for this gun. Thanks for your help

There are plenty of great parts out there... My choice, Seekins base and Badger 30mm rings. Rock solid.

Sounds like a nice rifle! I have the Leupold Mark 4 (30mm) rings and 1-piece base. Have been very happy with them.

In my opinion, badger ordnance is a one stop shop. I Use them on my savage 110fp 300 win mag with no problem. Its the best ring/base combo I have used.
