Need suggestions for dual mount for SLC binos and Terrapin X.

What rail is that? I am having a hard time finding them with the M3 holes

How do you mount the BC-18 Micro Ball to the rail? Looks like it threads directly into one of the 1/4-20 slot ends?

Look at the RRS MPR-1. It includes the screws and stop. I haven’t been able to find the Hejnar mentioned above. Only a 6” universal and stop purchased separately....which nearly adds up to the $65 the RRS costs.

I would have bought the RRS MPR-1 as my first choice, but the location of where you could screw in a 1/4-20 thread for the micro-ballhead left a chunk of the rail unused and put the binos and rangefinder too close together. The screw hole on the Hejnar and where you can mount the Outdoorsman's mount plus anti-twist bar gives about another full inch of space between the optics.

I’ve been working on something similar as well, and have it in the DIY section of this forum (just updated last night).

I came across “cheese plates” for the platform, and I made my own adjustable base, like a little tiles version of what @AIAW posted earlier. While I just adapter it to the cheeseplate, I had them on just an aluminum plate before and it worked great to link the rangefinder to the spotting scope, and allowed for micro adjustments to the rangefinder independently of the spotter.

Edit because why not include a picture.
