Rifle Scopes need your thoughts....

I had a couple they are good scopes and track well. My biggest gripe is the eye relief changes quite a bit through the power range. Now that they are available in ffp and mil turrets they are a little more attractive, however the lack of illumination on their FFp scopes is kind of a deal killer for me. Those two issues are partially why I switched to Nightforce scopes.
Bottom line, I really liked the two I had, I feel for my money there are just better options available.

leupold mark 4's are all very good scopes.
i'd spend the extra money to get FFP so your reticle is accurate no matter what magnification you're on.
you have to decide whether or not matching knobs/reticle means much to you.
leupold's do not have the best glass in their price range, but they do offer repeatable adjustments and the ability to take a tremendous amount of abuse (i'm not recommending you drive nails with your scope, but it's nice to know you could if you had to).

I have A Mk 4 8.5-25x50mm. I found it to be very good but have the same complaint as sandbogg with having to adjust eye relief with every magnification change. I was wondering if anyone has found A way to deal with this or is this normal for the scope.

I had 8.5-25x50 model too. Switched to Nightforce , due changing eye relief, tunnel vision on lower magnification.
