Needed Ar-15 Lower

Re: Needed Ar-15 Lower

Nope. If I were you, I would get on an email notification list and be ready to jump as stuff trickles in. Otherwise, you're going to be stuck with the free for all on an auction site.

Re: Needed Ar-15 Lower

I have a Stag lower that I had engraved (I have a trust)..then the next day I found a Noveske lower..not sure if I can get the engraving blanked out...will have to contact the shop I went to. If they can do it, I just may put it up for sale. Will keep you posted.

I got in on this one!

Re: Needed Ar-15 Lower

Look...this is fairly simple and straightforward. If you want an AR lower at this point in time, you can:

1) sit on every major firearms retailer specializing in ARs/parts/components/accessories/etc. like a fat kid on a cupcake until they post that some are available and then gobble one up for a reasonable, non-inflated price (roughly what you could have...and likely should have...bought one for earlier this year...MSRP...etc.). This includes watching the Hide like a hawk as much as you can as people have routinely been posting "Hey guess what just became available at x-retailer" threads for over a month including links to lower receivers for reasonable prices, but again...you'd better be quick on the trigger to get one. Similarly, get on the "Notify" or "Wait List" buttons on those same retailers' sites and they'll tell you when they get inventory which you'll have to jump on quickly.; OR

2) go on gunbroker and find a make/model that suits you, your wants/needs, and buy it (whilst refraining from @#$%&ing about the price because the price is what it is for those who "gotta have it now" and can't wait around to see what may or may not happen in the coming weeks/months/etc.); OR

3) keep watch over the various for sale forums here, on BARFCOM, M4Carbine, etc., etc., and when one comes up that you like...buy it!! Lowers come up for sale (particularly on BARFCOM) all the time, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. Again...price may not be (ok...WON'T BE) the best, but you can nevertheless get a lower if you want one (again...whilst refraining from @#$%&ing about the price).

Let's face facts...finding AR lowers is a non-issue...they are EVERYWHERE, especially GunBroker, BARFCOM, etc., etc.!!! Finding them for prices you want to spend (or think is "fair") is the problem. Be patient or be spendy...simple enough decision for those who find themselves in like/similar predicaments.

Let's go at this another way...

What specifically, if you know or care, are you looking for in terms of an AR lower (i.e. - mfg, billet or forged, new/used, stripped/complete, features, etc.)? That in and of itself might go a long way toward getting you moving in the right direction in terms of potential sources, availability, etc.

Even better, should be forced to click "I have read" check box before being allowed to enter the forums.
