New .22LR

Re: New .22LR

10/22s shoot great after you dump a pile of cash into them. semis tend to get dirty faster with the lube the use on quality ammo. an anshutz would also be a great choice but a cz will shoot just as nice for around 400 bux

Re: New .22LR

its more the indian at 100 then the arrow. But you better have at least $2k for the rifle alone to answer that question.

also, use the search engine. mighty useful looking information up. (the google one)

Re: New .22LR

40x or anschutz at just about any distance, kimber or coopers are top shelf too, all in that $1,000+ catagory

in the $400 to $600 range, it's hard to beat a CZ452, 453, and probably the new 455. browning put out a nice rifle too.

on the cheaper side, there's Savage mkii, marlin xt, ruger 10/22
i don't hear much about the newer mossberg's, there must be a reason why....

then again, the old sears and roebuck 25 has been known print a decent group or two now and again, it's like a $75.00 rifle.

whatever rifle you choose, several brands of ammo through it to see what kind it likes the most. wolf MT or extra seem to be the universal ammo.
