I'm pretty sure I read that they were like close to 10 grand spec'd out, IIRC. I'm not to sure about this thing though, only time will tell.

i bet you will gwt more than that out of it,dont let the barrel get hot,and she will last alot longer,if you ever get rid of it let me know,i could have fun with it for sure

Yeah, I just spoke to my old 1stSgt. who works Military Sales for Remington and he says that it'll be a year from now at the earliest... Filling the military and govt. orders will take priority and then it will be released for open purchase.

From what I saw in Iraq the Marines are spending their pennies wisely. They had alot of shit that was far better than ours.
Thats one sweetass rifle.

I Looked at the website it says greater than >2,500. Which means the military is giving them a minimum limit of rds for the barrel life. I'd say that depending on the caliber you should expect more than that out of it. Anyone else got idea's on that. I've never owned a .338 Lapua Mag.
