I saw these and thought of all you guys who live in mag capacity restricted states. Brownells says that they have designed these from the ground up for reliability and durability. I don't know how well they will perform as I don't have any yet. Certainly worth a try IMO. Available end of February from what it says.

Dont even waste the time. You can get 10 rd pmags that are nice and short for $13 all over the place. No need for an 8 inch mag that holds to rds.

Did you notice that they have their 30 round mags for $9.99?

I'm truly curious as to how well theirs stack up against the gold standard Magpul mags. It's really only academic for me as I do not currently own an AR-15 pattern rifle. I am however considering such a purchase...maybe someday...in case I don't already own enough firearms yet...

I like the Brownells just as good if not better than Magpul. Very few been sent back for repair. I did a T&E with the Brownells a few yrs ago up against the Magpul, and didn't have a FTF/FTE on either of them. Ill take either one that is on sale or which is the cheapest. I've ran both at Carbine classes through the years, and after a 3 day 3,000 rd ct had a cpl mag issues from both Co's. Brownells have been used in Military for years
