Who makes good barrels for Mark V's? I'm looking for 338 win mag, 8mm rem mag , 340 wby.

Are you looking for a Pre-contoured barrel blank or one already threaded and short chambered?

Pre-contoured blanks - kreiger,mike rock, brux, bartline are the more popular ones. Of course there's also Lija, Douglas, Shilen & Hart.

Pick the barrel manufacture you want and have a smith screw it on for you. As for a prefitted barrel option for a MKV action, I think you will have trouble finding it.

Pacnor did my first MKV action. Now it wears a hart chambered by another smith.

I have a shilen on my mark v 300 wby and it shoots awesome.
