There are more than a few posts, going back to June 1st, on the Berger 300gr .338 bullets.

I agree with reading multiple threads regarding this bullet before you buy any. I am glad I waited before buying any.

As far as I know, they were found to have significantly lower BC than what was initially stated. It is also interesting that these bullets seem to have been tested in lower velocity platforms like the .338edge. The reason this is important is that when the bullets were released, people were finding out they were not performing as anticipated. Poor groups and the calculated ballistics using the quoted BC were not matching up with the actual field results. Some people found that the bullets were deforming at the higher velocities of the .338LM platform and producing very poor performance.

As I said, I have no personal experience with the bullets, because i am waiting for version 2.0 of the bullet before I buy any. I think the Berger website has alot more info on the situation.
