Spent a few hours yesterday finishing this up. It's going to be a LR bench gun, chambered in 338 Lapua, set up as a single shot, although action is a repeater, and have the bottom metal in the box still..
McMillan Tooley MBR stock - surplus, originally inlet was for something else, so it was cheap
LONG Bartlein barrel - has to be extra diameter for the action threads and tenon
Surgeon XL repeater action - bought it with extra magnum bolt, if I want to turn it into an Edge or RUM
Jewell trigger - have an extra Bix'NAndy I might swap it out for
NF 12x42 BR scope and rings - going to change out rings to a detachable mount, need to use scope on another rifle also
Thundertrap can to take some of the spank out

It sure is a long stick, still have to decide what color the metal is going to be, maybe just polish the action? Open to ideas if anyone has an opinion.
