Here it is from the ground up, what started as a new Rem 700 308 tactical is now:
Trued Rem 700 s/a in .308
Stock trigger tuned to about 2-lbs by Neil Tennisen
25" 1/11.5 twist Bartlein barrel
Badger M5 bottom metal
Manners T2 stock
Nightforce 20moa bases
Burris Extreme rings
Leupold 6.5-20x
Caldwell short bipod
I want to thank Chance and Neil both for helping me put this together. Range Report tommorrow pending weather and time.

Thanks, Neil trued the action, tuned the trigger and rechambered the barrel. Chance helped me with the bedding.

Ahhh....like my first beer, I remember my first bedding job: I was such a stud, having bedded my first rifle.

If it shoots as good as it looks i should have some good targets to post tommorrow. I have no doubt in the rifles capabilities so as long as i do my part it should be a successful trip tommorrow.

Yeah it hasnt rained down here for awhile so gotta keep the little grass thats left! The range report has been delayed because of a stuck case in my sizing die and I have been working all week and havnt had a chance to go pick up another one. But as soon as I get a chance im going to shot the crap out of this rifle I promise you that!

I have the rifle now that Chris is in Afghanistan, he does not post on here very much and never got around to posting a range report. I have had it for a few months and just thought I would share some pics...

And a pic from when we shot out in Marfa, TX...that day we shot out to 1200 yds.

I'm not sure what the barrel contour is I think it close to the MTU contour...it's pretty thick. He also had Neil install a surefire brake which is not functional for a suppressor due to the rear of the brake being cut off and re-threaded. It works like a standard brake and works damn well.
