It's impossible. For instance the field photo... How is it bending light when behind the material would be nothing but shadow? And if it were that good I doubt they'd be releasing photos of it.

But I agree with challenging how well it could hold up in most field conditions. As with most new technologies, it is probably very sensitive to a lot of variables difficult to control in real life.
