New Dillon Case Prep Machine Shot

Didn't they announce it last year? I was looking for info for it and it just seems to sizzle. I remember them saying something about durability. I would think if the charge close to a 1050 folks would just buy a 1050. Guessing $1200 with organic swaging capability? If you don't need to swage seems like you might be better off using a 650

I would agree. But if the price is cheaper than I would definitely grab one for dedicated rifle brass prep.

HMMMMMMM what does the RL1100 do my S1050 doesnt?

Only advantage to the market I can see is expanding on caliber options for rifles.

I wish the S1050 had a bigger workspace to use match seating dies.

Other than that?

Looks like it’s just a 1050 (1100) with the priming station removed. Probably geared towards guys who want to process tens of thousands of once fired mil brass. Dual swaging for flexibility or to make sure you really got it right?

They did a redesign to the bottom end ram section and looks as though the beefed up the casting.

I wouldnt call the 1050 "weak" in its cast iron burliness so the strength is no big deal when the biggest cartridge it can handle is 30-06 but I do like the grease zerks being added to the bottom end to ease service.

Still unsure if the design is any better. If I need a bearing for my S1050 its just a simple timken replacement. Perhaps the new design complicates things.

Definitely interested in seeing what the 1100 offers over the 1050 since it will be replacing it. The 1100’s are already in the Graf & Sons catalog online (showing “out of stock”), I think they are planning on a March/April debut. Curious as to whether all the accessories, e.g., Mr. BulletFeeder, RF100 will be compatible (I would assume, yes). If anyone hears anything interesting please post it!
