American Guns and Red Jacket are to firearms what American Chopper is to bikes.
Go figure there are more posers than the real deal. That's who these shows appeal to. There real bikers and firearms enthusiasts know its all a joke and can see right through the BS.

The biker build off between JJ, OCC, and PJD is a testament to what 90% of viewers think and like.

American Guns charged a guy $4000.00 for a barrel change and a stock! Absolutely ridiculous, but the ignorant just keep shelling out the cash.

Enthusiasts will always wonder why shows like this exist but that's because it wasn't made for you guys. How many people, other than the people you find here and other gun forums, do you think would enjoy watching someone hit a target 1000 plus yards away laying prone...and that's it? 1000 plus yard shot after shot. The shooter could be the most technical person on the planet with an eagle eye pinpoint precision but if there's no action that most other idiots can't relate to then it's off the air. I wrestled in college and I enjoy watching college wrestling on t.v. EVERYBODY else who is in the room is like "why the fuck do you watch this, it's so boring". It's because I know the art of it and what it takes be good. Just like you fellas. When two technical jiu jitsu guys in the UFC go at it people think it's boring except for the jiu jitsu practitioners who can admire the art. The same people that follow those shows are the same people that think WWE wrestling is real. Just sit back and laugh, enjoy Page who is hot as shit, and be happy that every sponsor and gun smith on this site isn't like Rich or I'd be finding a new hobby.

This show is significantly better than the red jacket show. Also they are nice people, and anytime we aren't portrayed as stereotypical 'hillpeople nutjobs' it is a win.

The daughter Paige and the son Kurt are pretty responsive on twitter and are always polite and accessible.
