Hey guys just finished a 7mm saum bolt rifle build and really like it. Now I was wondering if anyone has made an AR or dpms upper in this caliber. I know there was an AR and dpms upper made for the 300 saum so I know the short mags will work, but I heard there were problems with them also. Things like broken bolts and extraction problems, but I have been told that a longer gas tube and adjustable gas block can help all that as well as faster powders and lighter loads. The thought of sending high bc 7mm bullets through my dpms sounds like alot of fun and also a great hunting/target gun. Plus I already have the brass and dies, so really all I need is a barrel magnum bolt and some advise before I get started on the build any input would be great thanks.
