Just got my new DPMS SASS. Brand new to shooting and The Hide. So if i'm in the wrong place forgive me. Looking for a few things. Wondering where to start ammo wise. Not gonna get into reloading just yet so I guess specifically ideas on others experiences with match grade ammo. Brand, load, etc. Thanks

You are in luck as there is a number of 308 loads that will handle everything from varmint hunting, deer hunting, and target shooting....
The Match 168 is about as ubiquitous as it gets for a 308 as it can do a lot of things well and a good place to start..

168 are great.. make sure you check the retaining pin ( the holds your firing pin in place ) in your bolt group it will bend and in time you will get a miss fire. replace it with a cotter pin. I went though three pins and now I am going with a steel cotter pin. fyi.
