Re: New Filmless ASM/PVS14

I dont honestly know ? I had a short time to test the units before I give them back,The edge of objects where more defined and depth was much better then Green I could also see father in Fogy conditions. In Hilight urbane type use it outperforms Green by a large margin,This will be the Item to have for Agency that wants the best.I need more Time with it to give an honest Long term test,I should be able to do this when the New scope comes back with one installed. I can get them now If anyone wants them.

That said its almost Double the cost of Green .But If you want the best this is it.

Re: New Filmless ASM/PVS14

Thanks ASM who spend till 1am last night on the phone with me taking time to hand check tubes looking spot spec while he walked me through each data sheet. We found a filmless tube that sounded right for me performance vs price so I ordered a new pvs-14 filmless I can't wait to get it in my hands next week! Now I have to work all day on 2 hours sleep but it was worth it

Re: New Filmless ASM/PVS14

I am taking the time to do a little follow up review on the ASM filmless pvs14 now that I have ran it several nights in rural and urban conditions with my helmet setup. The specs on the new filmless were great omini 7+ and only one tiny spec on the screen.First night out rural conditions very dark cloudy night I took the filmless14 and a couple other pinnacle mono's I own out kind of gave alittle comparison and was very pleased all my systems looked great the filmless did do alittle better that night but nothing major difference wise the pinnacle tubes are strong performers as everyone knows. After using the filmless in a urban area I have noticed when scanning accross lights the filmless tube does not streak like my filmed tubes do and the halo seems smaller also. I have also had to chance to view two other filmless systems since getting mine another I bought for myself and a buddy also bought one from ASM those filmless tubes also acted the same around lights and in rural dark conditions in fact they look to be twins performance wise. Overall I am very pleased with my newest pvs-14 filmless strong performance and great clarity.
