Looking forward to being on the Hide, just started shooting long range about 6 weeks ago. Just banging steel right now I'm out to 1200 yds with my 260. Have met some great people doing this so far. Started shooting long range with Dan Newberry in Wytheville Va. First day course he had me shooting my 280 at 1040 yds. New guys need to look him up at Bangsteel.com. Great experience and terrific confidence booster for long range shooting. Thanks for letting me on board.

Welcome, neighbor! I'm on hwy. 62 not far from where hwy 61 deadends into it. I guess you may know A.C. who lives up close to Alamance Balttleground. Have you heard about the Central Carolina Gun Club that has formed on 62 north of Burlington. they almost have their 600 yd range completed. Google them up if you want to know more. Maybe we can get together sometime and burn some powder and tell some lies.

Welcome! We have several excellent LR matches here in NC, and being centrally located in the state your travel won't be too bad.

Thanks Guys, I'm breaking in a new 300RUM Ray Bowman built and working up loads at the same time. Its about there. 40xs, I do know AC he built my Portable benches for me. Any of you local boys shoot steel ? have a great place two hours from here to shoot to 1200 yds and soon to a mile.
