Hello everyone, New guy here from Fort Worth Texas. I've (kind of) been shooting long range for awhile, but I am by no means even remotely close to calling myself an expert. (and never will) I went to/graduated Army sniper school in 07', got out of the Army in 12', and jumped right into the rat race life of trying to survive as a civilian. In 2015, I lost a good bit of my worldly possessions in a fire, to include most of my rifles, reloading gear, etc. Thus, I have been out of the game for a long time. BUT...I finally won the battle with the insurance company and recouped my losses, and built myself some REALLY nice rifles to replace what I lost. To boot, a few years ago the folks at triple c range were kind enough to build a facility with steel all the way out to 2,000 meters right down the road from me...the stars have aligned, and I am very pleased.
That said, I am not an expert as mentioned...and I have been watching this forum for a long time. In fact, if you were to google ANYTHING having to do with long range shooting, you'll most likely get at least a few hits leading you to this very forum on various threads, most of which are seething with useful information. It is clear there is a wealth of knowledge here, which is why I joined. I look forward to getting to know you all, and all of the great stuff I am sure to learn from it...so thanks for having me!

I'm very glad to hear that you finally were able to get the Insurance company to do something for you.
Those insurance types can be a bit of an evil pain to deal with.

You'll have to have fun posting pictures of your rifles & groups and such for fun next time you go out shooting.

Welcome from NRH TX. Thanks for your service and I'm glad you're up and running once again.

I drive through the Cresson area monthly, but have never made it out to the range there. Need to do that at some point.
