Originally from SC, I move around a lot for work these days. I've been shooting LR on the mil side for 20 years or so, looking to expand my knowledge base with some civilian matches. Mostly just been working with .300WM and .308, I'd like to perhaps move into some new chamberings as well.

I haven't yet. The furthest I've shot is 500 with my 700 in .06. I can keep sub MOA but the recipe I thought I would never forget seems to have slipped my mind. I haven't been at the bench for a few years until a few months ago. I should have written it down.
I've since picked up a couple .308s, an M1A and PA10, and am working up a load. I've got a membership over at Elbert County Gun Club in Elberton GA that goes out to 400, but they hold monthly members-only 600 & 1,000 matches off site. I've got sets of several seating depths loaded and ready to go. Once I see which is best and figure the dope, I'll be hitting those matches for certain.
What about yourself? Where do you stretch the legs of your rifles?
The only place I've truly stretched her legs recently is at the snipers unknown challenge. Other than that I routinely do 300 uard practice at a friends property. Looking to find some place else to shoot. Looking at becoming a member at Clinton house in Clinton.
I didn't know Clinton House even had a 1,000 range until I went to the website. I can't tell whether the daily fee covers more than one two-hour block. I know the ban on .338LM would turn off my brother.
How about you @12Bravo, whereabouts in Pickens County and where are you shooting?
I'm originally from Easley and moved back not too long ago. Mainly shooting at the DNR range in Pauline - 200 yards, but bench only. I'm thinking about joining the Elbert County, GA gun club. Not much further of a drive, but can shoot longer distances there.
